If people bothered to do even a hint of research they’d see that Disney is changing the setting of The Little Mermaid from Denmark to the Caribbean in the live action film.
Casting a black Ariel is completely accurate for the setting!
I mean the the animated version lichrally had Calypso music and a Jamaican crab which has fuck all to do with Denmark so like. Yknow the change was warranted anyways.
This video melts my heart, you can see the genuine happiness on their faces, but what makes me the happiest is that these two girls look like they will be friends for a very long time.
